Since Valentine’s Day can be seen as an opportunity to turn a regular day into a more charming and lovely day, we recommend you to consider crafting some decorations that can make this celebration even more special than it already is. Here are some Valentine’s day decor ideas that will help you create wonderful accessories for your home.

Valentine’s Day XO Glitter Letters

Making some shimmery glitter letters for Valentine’s Day will help you show your loved one how important he/she is to you. After seeing how many efforts you’ve made to make this day magical, your partner will feel very special, so you can be confident that he/she will appreciate your thoughtfulness. In order to make some great looking XO Glitter Letters you have to buy red glitter, Mod Podge, a foam brush, some glossy spray sealer, and depending on your preferences, you can buy the letters from a craft shop, or you can make them from cardboard. This project is very easy, as all you have to do is apply a layer of Mod Podge on both sides of the letters, sprinkle red glitter on the entire surface, and allow to dry. The last thing that you need to do is make the glitter last by applying one coat of transparent glossy sealer on both sides of the letters.

Valentine tree

One of the easiest Valentine’s day decor ideas involves using some regular tree branches to create a romantic holiday decor. So, you can create a nice ornament by painting the branches white, and by adorning them with some pretty cardboard hearts. In order to make this decoration more spectacular, you can draw nice figures on the cardboard hearts, or you can use a marker to write romantic messages.

Heart garland

There are many Valentine’s day decor ideas that can help you turn your house into a romantic and lovely place, but most of them involve spending too much money or time on crafting. Therefore, you should stick to simple projects, like a heart garland that you can hang across a window to add more life to the place. You don’t need spacial paper for the hearts, but if you want to make them look more glamorous, we suggest to buy luxurious sheets of paper. That way, you will make your garland more sophisticated. Start by tracing heart shapes on the paper, and cutting them out one by one. Next, you can glue the hearts on any type of ribbon, following a certain pattern, or attaching them randomly.
